New versions of this app (releases/updates)

Post by RubikCube »

Version 4.5 of the app is in final testing and should be available Friday/Saturday. The changes are:
  • Links to old Wixsite updated to new website.
  • Ability to delete data for permanently disconnected batteries.
  • Improved dialogue for Pause Mode.
  • New Advanced tab with option to recalibrate battery.
  • Scrollbar added to Recover tab.
As always be aware that auto update will stop the background process.

Downloaded the new version and managed to delete the wrong serial number battery that was on my system with ease (thanks for the fix)

I did post this over on the GE forum, but it may have go lost/buried-

An idea for v4.6 whenever, but not urgent:

Default the datatable/stats page to 'Combined' if more than 1 inverter, or stick to last choice.

Everytime I go to it it's on my currently disconnected inverter

All suggestions for improvements welcome, I will be looking at defaulting to combined for v4.6.

Shortly, I will need to put out a bug fix release for version 4.5. Probably called 4.5.2.

Thanks for the great app and updates. Quick suggestion; introduce some sort of cancel/ok button next to items on the "Recover" page so that the list doesn't just keep growing for things you don't want/need to restore.
Cheers, Simon

Is there a way of making the numbers within the circle green when exporting, yellow when charging the batteries and red when importing as my better half can't get her head around all the different numbers (even the bit that says importing -exporting🤦

Great app, many thanks. For me it is the way forward. One request, can the app automatically reconnect to the wifi following a power cut? We tend to have more power outages than most and if I'm not here to restart the app, I tend to lose data. Clearly, not a major issue, just a nice to have. Thanks once again.

The app should just keep running during a power outage (provided the device it's running on has a battery) and automatically reconnect when the power comes back on. If you are having a problem please can you start a new topic describing the issue. Remember to say what model of equipment you have.

Version 4.6 should be coming out this week. The main changes are:
  • New grid and solar controls on Advanced tab.
  • Improved navigation for multiple inverters.
  • Fix background task failing to start within 90 seconds of reboot.
  • On daily graph, PV current line changed 11A to 13A, grid current line changed 60A to 80A.
  • Data Import - Duplicate messages reduced to summary count.
  • Fix rare crash if connection lost during heartbeat reply.

Excellent Andrew - I know many are talking up this app...which gets better because you respond to people's observations so rapidly.
Have you had a big uptake in those getting the "full" access app?
