Loss of battery temperature values
Loss of battery temperature values
I noticed last night on the GivEnergy monitor app that the temperature readings on one of my 9.5Kw batteries all went to zero for a period of 5 minutes or so. Unfortunately I don't have the premium access on the GE app so could not check the battery graphs. I have experienced dips in the temperature and SOC readings before but things were ok for the past two months. Unless I pay for the premium service or go down the axle energy route I'm flying blind.
Re: Loss of battery temperature values
It's a known issue with the GE equipment. Just data corruption because GE engineers didn't believe error checking was necessary. Nothing to be concerned about.
I have recently found out that a corrupted battery serial number can be reported by the inverter. There is no actual corruption, just bad data. This potentially causes a phantom battery to be created in my app.
I will improve the data validation, and hopefully fix both problems in the next version.
